Dr Hafsa Banu
Dr. Hafsa Banu, who resides in Oman, is a dentist by profession and a passionate artist by soul. She is inspired by the beauty of the Middle East, which she finds intriguing, and a true artist’s abode. While her forte lies in nail and string art, she also experiments with different mediums and techniques such as acrylics , oils ,water colour, fabric paints, sand painting, alcohol inks, resins and crafts
Over the course of her journey as an artist, she has participated in several events at the Indian Embassy in Oman, the first ever eco-art competition held to commemorate the 49th Renaissance Day, and Oman Vista, among others. She has also been a part of high profile online art exhibitions where her works were credited in the special recognition category.
Her stellar works have earned a lot of appreciation from the media including Times of Oman, Times of India, The Week Oman, Y Magazine, FACES Magazine, Udayavani, Daijiworld , The Observer Oman , Asianet News , Hi FM Road, and ,Virgin Radio, among others.
Dr. Hafsa Banu has also been affiliated with the Royal Diwaan of Oman when she contributed a Nail and string portrait of Former Sultan of Oman, His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said
